God can do it Beliefs

I believe that God has given us the Bible as our guide to a relationship with Jesus Christ, and that every concept in it is real and for us today...in the book of Revelation we are told that if we add to or subtract from anything in God's book, God will remove our portion from the tree of life and not allow us a part in His holy city. So what the Bible says is still the same for us today just as it was in the beginning.

I believe that in the beginning perfect man sinned by accepting the lie of the enemy, who in the form of a serpent, basically told them that God was lying, when He said that they would die if they ate the forbidden fruit. The serpent told them that in reality they would become like God and be able to discern good from evil...the woman was deceived and wanted to be like God, so she ate... man was not deceived, but had made woman his god and did not want to lose her so he ate. When they sinned they sold out their children to the satanic power and gave the authority which God had given to them to satan.

(Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 5:12)

I believe that God loves man and had already planned a way of escape. He Himself would one day come in the form of man. He would fulfill the requirements of the law and open a way for man through faith in Him to return to His former sinless state. God when He promised a savior said unto satan: "And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring (Or seed) and hers; He will crush ( Or strike) your head, and you will strike His heel." Genesis 3:15

I believe that when the fullness of time had come that God almighty took a portion of Himself and planted it as a fertile seed in a 15 year old virgin, where His Godliness was mixed with human blood. He was born through her as a perfect sinless being, all God and all man.*

* I like to think of it as a candle flame. If you light another candle with the first candle's flame do you have two separate flames or is the second flame a portion of the first? In the same way as the flame, God took a portion of Himself and placed it in a small seed and deposited it in a human woman*

( And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favor with God.
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a Son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto Him the throne of His father David:
And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God. Luke 1:30-35)

I believe that He lived His life on this earth in perfect submission to His own laws through the perfect will of His heavenly Father, who was also Himself. (God is capable of being all things, and in all places at one time.) His name is Jesus, meaning Jehovah saves.(but He has many other names, such as Wonderful Counselor, Eternal Father,Son of God, Son of man, Son of David, Jehovah, YWH, etc.) He came to save man from the curse of the law, by fulfilling all that the law demands. What it demanded was the death of a perfect human being as a substitution for the man who had fallen. Because of that death, which was foretold in the death of many lambs and goats in the ancient rituals, and the spilling of His perfect blood, He has the power to forgive all sins, to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, and to raise us from death to life. There is no other way to be saved. None.

( Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12)

I believe that He spent 3 years teaching His disciples whom redeemed man is in Him, and showing them His heart. (As shown in the 4 gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John)

I believe that the only way that we can receive this salvation and transformation is by coming to Him in humble acceptance that we are sinful and need His grace. To ask Him to forgive us and to be our Lord and Savior.

("If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanses us from all unrighteousness." 1John 1: 8-10)

I believe the desire of Jesus as stated in His prayer in John 17 is that we would be in Him and He in us, even as He is in His Father and His Father is in Him. This prayer was fulfilled on the day of Pentecost when His Holy Spirit arrived here on earth. We were in Jesus when God and man were mingled at the Virgin birth. He entered into us when the Holy Spirit was sent to incorporate us on that day of Pentecost. Now we are truly of the family of God.

I believe that those who believe on Him will never see death, but will go on living for ever. What we consider death to be here is a transition of our being to another realm. That the death of those who do not know God is the separation of man and God. That the one who accepts Him as their savior is never parted from Him. When they finish their life in this present world they go to be with God. However the one who does not receive Jesus as their savior will go to a place of weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth, away from the presence of God, death.

(And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. John 11:26)

I believe that Jesus is coming back and that every eye will see Him. He will set up His kingdom on this earth for 1000 years. . At that time all the earth will live in peace.

I believe that before that time those who have put their faith in Him in the form of Jesus Christ will be removed from this earth and taken to Him who is their bridegroom. They will be with Him for 7 years. During that time, the wrath of God will fall on this earth.

(For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which remain shall be caught up together to meet Him in the air: 1 Thessalonians 4:14;

I believe that at the end of the 1000 year period God will judge the wicked. Anyone not found in the Lamb's book of life will be cast into the fire that was prepared for satan and his angels.

("Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.")

If you have never given your heart to Jesus Christ, I invite you to do so today. All you have to do is pray to Him. Do it by addressing Him as Father, confess to Him that you have sinned and recognize your need of Him. Ask Him to forgive you and to cleanse you. Then accept Him as your Lord and ask Him to come into your heart and to live His life through you.

Get a Bible and read it daily and speak to Him in intimacy each day. Confess to others that He is your Lord and Savior.

("If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9; "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved Romans 10:9)
